Mary's Girl, Heart, and Smoke
The topic of my art piece is Air Pollution. I chose to draw a human girl facing a human heart that looks like a machine and is emitting smoke. There’s also a rose growing out of the heart. The bleeding heart that emits smoke represents the world we live in because it is the source of life for all living things just like how humans can’t live without a heart . The smoke signifies pollution and the rose plant symbolizes life. The heart that the girl was holding was actually her own heart that’s why she’s also bleeding. This piece shows that we are also harming ourselves because of the pollution that we caused.
