Janet's Hand for the Environment
I wanted my piece to focus on the subject of the environment. I tried to visualize how environmental and climate awareness intersects with social justice. The negative consequences of climate change and environmental damage heavily impact those in poverty and indigenous groups the most. Advocating for climate awareness is not just changing lifestyles and behaviours. Rather most importantly, it is holding corporations and people in power accountable for their actions.
